After leaving uni (a VERRRRRRRY long time ago) I managed to secure every boy/mans dream job, casting manager for lingerie company…well that was part of it. My first marketing role was the very bottom of the ladder as marketing assistant for a lingerie brand. For just over 6 years, I travelled around the UK and Europe flying the flag for big busted girls and I loved every second of it. I eventually left to join the marketing communications team at Royal Bank of Scotland, and I was a key player in the migration of natwest branded material to RBoS. A great opportunity, but my itchy feet were a real problem in my twenties/early thirties, so I moved onto Scottish Power, where I was lucky enough to lead a complete rebrand, before my itchy feet turned to cold feet. The cold feet were due to the 3 indoor snowslopes that I was tasked at building a brand for. There were 3 SNO!zone sites (Braehead, Castleford and Milton Keynes) and for 3 years i travelled up and down the UK, taking real snow into city centres, promoting rail jams and sponsoring snowsports athletes before I joined the Vango (outdoor brand) team.
Laterally I have headed up the marketing team at Argyll Holidays, Scotlands No.1 independent Holiday Operator.
